The Downtown Hammond Council Presents the 2016 Hammond Art Tour
Saturday June 11, 2016 from 10 am to 10 pm.
Exhibits and Entertainment:
Dan Rabin Plaza – 425 Sibley Street, Artwork by: A variety of local grafitti artists will be painting “LIVE” outside of the old bus station.
EAT – 5201 Hohman Avenue 10 am to 8 pm, Artwork by: Felix Maldonado Live music by: 2 Bukk Chukk 6 pm to 8 pm Delicious food and adult beverages available.
FLEX Studios – 5129 Hohman Avenue 10 am to 8 pm, Felix Maldonado will be painting “LIVE” a new mural on alley entrance to his studio, and his studio will be open to visitors. DJ, light refreshments, snacks.
Hammond Arts Center – 5832 Hohman Avenue 11 am to 3 pm, Artwork by: Phillip Herrold “Vibrant”
Hammond Public Library – 564 State Street 9 am to 5 pm, Artwork by: Sophia Rapata
HUB of Innovation and Original Domain – 5233 Hohman Avenue Noon to 4 pm, Original Domain is featuring local artists. HUB will have kids art activities and snacks.
It’s Just Serendipity – 5630 Hohman Avenue 10 am to 4 pm, “LIVE” artwork by: Rick Ramirez and David Ingram
Paul Henry’s Art Gallery – 416 Sibley Street 10 am to 7 pm, South Lake Artists Co-op/SLAC Show Self/Us: A Visual Exploration of Identity
South Shore Arts – 435 Fayette Street 1 pm to 7 pm, Northwest Indiana Artist Collective THE UNWONTED Take It Outside a Pop-up Outdoor Gallery, Live Art and Music Fest
The Yale Building – 200 Russell Street, 1st Floor 10 am to 4 pm, Collection of circus art posters from 1920-1940s
Towle Theater – 5205 Hohman Avenue 10 am to 2 pm, Artwork by: Christi Bushby, Wes Bushby and Ian Rigg
White Ripple Gallery – 6725 Kennedy Avenue 6 pm to 10 pm, A variety of artists featuring Frida Kahlo inspired Arts & Crafts
