Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and Hammond Parks & Recreation invite all area soccer enthusiasts to come out on Tuesday nights from November through March to play and/or be coached in soccer. Come out and play, no matter what your skill level, at the Jean Shepherd Community Center, 3031 J.F. Mahoney Drive from 6:00 – 9:30p. Here is the current schedule:
- Every Tuesday Evening
- November 20th through December 18th, 2018
- January 8th through March 26th, 2019
The cost is $4 per youth player, $3 for the second child and $5 per adult player. No charge for Jean Shepherd Center Annual Members. Daily members do not receive a discount. Players need to bring shin guards and a ball. U8, U10 and U12 use Size 4 ball; U14 use Size 5 ball.
All children under the age of 18 cannot participate without a completed Insurance Liability Waiver form.
