The Sanitation Department will not be working Thursday, November 23, 2017, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Monday through Wednesday pick-ups will be as scheduled. Thursday and Friday scheduled garbage pick-up will be one day late. We will be working on Friday, November 24th, and also on Saturday, November 25th.
Ribbon Cutting at New Forsythe Park Dog Park

LPR Cameras Instrumental in Capturing Robbery Suspect

Hammond Community Corporation 2017 Grant Application Now Available
The City of Hammond for the social betterment of the community formed the Hammond Community Corporation in 1997. The organization is designed to grant financial assistance to Hammond not-for-profit organizations to enrich the quality of life in our community.
