The Sanitation Department will not be working Thursday, November 23, 2017, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Monday through Wednesday pick-ups will be as scheduled. Thursday and Friday scheduled garbage pick-up will be one day late. We will be working on Friday, November 24th, and also on Saturday, November 25th.

Yard Waste Pickup Begins April 17th
On April 17th, 2017 (weather permitting), Hammond Public Works will begin curbside pickup of 30 gallon paper, biodegradable yard waste bags on a regular weekly basis.
