Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and the Hammond Parks Department in conjunction with the Hammond Parks Foundation and American Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association are excited to announce the city’s annual Easter Egg Hunt.

Bring the kids out to Hessville Park on Sunday, April 13th for spring fun! Don’t be late. The egg hunt begins sharply at Noon. Kids will hunt in the following age groups: 0-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10.

Don’t miss the AVMRA Easter Bunny when he arrives via motorcycle for pictures. There will also be raffle baskets for kids and adults following the hunt.

Hessville Park is located at 173rd and Kennedy Avenue in Hammond.
