Mayor’s Gold Cup Roadie Run 5K along Wolf Lake

Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and The City of Hammond Department of Parks & Recreation invite runners and walkers of all ages to compete in the Kathleen Pucalik Memorial 5K Roadie Run leading up to the 20th Annual Festival of the Lakes. The run / walk starts and ends at The Wolf Lake Pavilion on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Registration begins at 6:30am and the race begins at 8 a.m. Early registration is $25 on or before June 30th, and $40 after until race day. This is a Calumet Striders Gold Cup Race. A free 1 mile children’s race begins at 8:05am and children will receive a complimentary t-shirt.

Awards will be presented to the Overall top 2 Male and Female finishers; Overall top 2 Male and Female Master finishers; Top 3 awards in Athena (170 lbs.+) and Clydesdale (210 lbs.+) and Top 3 Male and Female finishers in each age division.

Age divisions are: 8 and under; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14; 15-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 and over.
